Elite Nepal Seller Policies

   Welcome to the Seller Policy page of Elite Nepal! These policies provide a smooth, fair, and transparent experience for all sellers on the platform. By agreeing to register as a seller, you are bound by the following terms and conditions.

Eligibility and Seller Registration

  • Only businesses and individuals with valid business registration or PAN/VAT numbers are eligible to sell on Elite Nepal.
  • The seller must provide correct business details, including bank account details for cash payments.
  • We reserve the right to approve or disapprove any seller application on the basis of quality standards.
  • Sellers must subscribe to any membership plan before they are allowed to sell items on the platform.

Membership Fees

For listing and selling products on Elite Nepal, sellers are required to subscribe to a certain membership plan.

  • Membership fees must be paid in advance.

  • Sellers who fail to renew their membership will have their listings temporarily disabled until payment is made.

  • Fees are non-refundable unless Elite Nepal discontinues the seller’s membership for policy violations.

Product Listing Guidelines

  • The seller must ship the product orders within the agreed period. If there is a failure to ship the order on time, penalties or suspension ensue.
  • They should ship products with proper packaging, so they are not damaged upon delivery.
  • Tracking information must be updated immediately after shipment.

Product Commission and Payments

  • Elite Nepal charges a 5% commission on every product sold.
  • The remaining 95% will be paid directly to the seller’s designated bank account once the refund period elapses.
  • Payments will take up to a week to process and disburse to the seller after the agreed timeline for completion of orders has come to a close.
  • Seller payments are subject to refund, chargeback, and dispute deductions based on the sale and refund entry.

Return, Refund, and Warranty Policy

  • Products that have been verified defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped, must be accepted for a return during the return period.
  • The refund process has to be initiated immediately following verification of the returned item.
  • Sellers should honor product warranties according to the conditions detailed at listing.

Seller Privacy Policy

This Policy describes how Elite Nepal collects, uses, and safeguards personal and business information of sellers. By being a seller, you agree to abide by the following:

We collect the following seller information:

 

  • Business Information: business name, type, category, address, VAT/TIN number, bank account details.
  • Personal Information: seller’s full name, email, phone number, home address, if different from the business address.
  • Transaction Data: sales records, product listings, orders, shipping details, and payment transactions.

✅ How We Use Your Information

  • Account Management: Creating and maintaining seller accounts.
  • Payment Processing: Receiving payments from sellers, tax compliance.
  • Communication: Making sellers aware of updates, policy changes, and important information.
  • Laws Compliance: Being in compliance with Nepalese tax and business laws.

✅ Data Protection & Security

  • Encryption: Sensitive data (e.g., payments) is encrypted with SSL encryption.
  • Data Storage: Secure storage and limited access.
  • Third-Party Services: Payments and procedures handed by reputable third-party providers with strict security policies.

✅ Sharing of Seller Information

  • Service Providers: Payment processors, shipping partners, customer support providers.
  • Legal Compulsion: Required by law or court order or various regulatory bodies.
  • Business Transfers: In case of mergers, acquisitions, or business sale deals.

✅ Seller Rights

   Sellers have the right to:

  • As per their data (view information).
  • Amend information that is wrong.
  • Request for account/info deletion (if legally allowed).
  • Opt-out of receiving marketing messages.

✅ Data Retention

We retain seller information as long as a seller account remains active for legal, tax, and business compliance purposes.

✅ Updates to the Privacy Policy

Elite Nepal could update this policy to comply with the law or further improve security. The service will notify sellers of major changes.

Prohibited Seller Activities

Sellers are strictly inhibited from:

❌ Selling counterfeit products or restricted items
❌ Manipulating reviews or ratings
❌ Conducting fraudulent transactions
❌ Contacting buyers outside the platform for personal transactions

Violations may result in account suspension and legal action.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Sellers may participate in promotional campaigns organized by Elite Nepal to increase their sales.
  • The discounts and offers provided must be real and not misleading.
  • Promotional banners or paid advertisements will be used only after receiving approval from Elite Nepal.

Account Termination or Suspension

  • The seller can ask for deactivation of the account at any point in time, by informing the support.
  • Elite Nepal shall investigate accounts in such matters of violation of policy, fraud approaches, and poor performance.
  • Any payments will be settled after the account has been deactivated only after pending issues have been resolved.
